HEY HOW BOUT SHARING!!!

Try this the next time you fix a steak. Marinate in dale's marinate add a little prudomes or other steak seasoning when cooking, place steak on a bed of horseraddish sauce and sour cream mixed to taste, split a banana length wise and peel and place on either side of steak, sprinkle banana with curry powder to taste. now here is the secret ya got ta have apiece of steak coated in the sauce and a piece of banana the same size as steak bite. The three flavors at one time in your mouth is out of this world good. Stolen from Voyagers restaraunt in Orange Beach, Alabama they called it fillet mignon stanley but they have change chefs and staff and are just not as good as befor. they used to make the cesars salad tableside and also the bananas foster table side but stopped doing it for some reason????? so we stopped going also.

Steamboat Bill's. on the north side of I-10 in Lake Charles, La. if you are heading west, when you see the big bridge get off on the service road they will be on you right before you get to bridge. If you passed the service road take next service road exit and make the big loop(don't ask how i know this) isle of capri casino is on the south side of I-10 at the bridge. if heading east once off of bridge you will see them on the north side of I-10 take service road exit go down a ways and under I-10 then head back west.

The absolute best boiled shrimp and crawfish i have ever had!!!!! they are really spicey hot but the flavor is out of this world and the burn goes away in 15 to 20 minutes after finishing. I'm sure they have other good stuff too but i gots ta have dem shrimps.

o.k. lets start locally first.

Fish River Grill. (a real hole in the wall, gravel floor etc.) from hwy 59 in Summerdale Alabama go west on hwy 32, cross fish river bridge, pass intersection of hwy 33 on north side then about 200 yards on left. best bacon cheeseburger around, great crab claws, roast beef sandwich.

Fish Camp restaraunt. Summerdale, Alabama on east side of hwy 59, can't miss the sign. great scallops, any fish of the day with camp sauce (an alfredo type sauce with shrimp and other goodies.

Mama Lou's restaraunt. pine street, Robertsdale, Alabama. From the intersection of hwy 59 and hwy 104 Go east on hwy 104 to first left (pine street)behind regions bank then about 1000' on your right. Open for lunch daily except saturday. Best home cooked buffet around. Not to be missed if your in the area.

Magnolia grill. downtown Silverhill, Alabama just east of the only red light in Silverhill on hwy 104. Thursday is all you can eat prime rib. Friday and Saturday is seafood buffet with all you can eat snow crab, shrimp, oysters, three kinds of fish, gumbo etc etc.

Bluegill Restaraunt. On mobile bay, the old causeway about halfway between spanish fort, alabama and mobile, alabama. try the broccoli and grilled chicken sandwich and drown it with ranch dressing. music on most weekends.

Hope to get started on this soon. We have found so many out of the way places that were just great and wanted to share with everyone. An example would be we took the back roads from gatlinburg tn. to atlanta ga. and found this small restaraunt along side of the nantahallia river, we were starving and it was starting to spit snow so we stopped in for a bite. i ordered a hamburger with chili and some cheese fries when it came it was a 3/4 pound hamburger smothered in so much chili you couldn't see it and a whole plate of cheese fries.
